Review Roomhate by Penelope Ward

Hi there!

I read this book last week and I have some things to say eheh

First, I want to say that at the beginning of the book, I felt like I was reading fanfiction on Wattpad in 2010. I swear it seemed to be written by an amateur.

However, it changed when the romance between the two characters started. I got stuck to the plot and I couldn’t stop reading. The friends to enemies to back to friends to lovers is a trope I never read and loved it. I don’t even know if that’s a trope, but give me more!

I loved Justin! I loved how they were already such a cute couple when still friends. It was relatable that it was Amelia the one who ran because she couldn’t deal with her feelings. And I loved that Justin was so heartbroken that tried to hate Amelia for a whole decade.

It was such a good book, and I couldn’t stop reading it. Okay, for a book that I loved so much, it took me a little bit of time to finish it, but I swear it was great.

I truly recommend this book. But be careful because it has some very spicy scenes. Completely worth it though.

I want to read this book every year from now forward.
