General Update

Hey guys!

Just keeping the promise I made about posting more here. I wanted to say some things to keep you guys updated.

First, I want to let you know that I already read twenty-ish books this year. Don’t ask yet how because I will explain in a bit how and why this is happening.

This year I’ve been reading mostly romance books, but I also read some horror and thrillers which is a genre I want to read more and more. I loved all the thrillers I read until now and I want to discover more books in this genre.

I wish I could say I gave around three books the five star rating, but that would be a lie 🤭 I have been reading amazing books this year. You can always follow me on Goodreads to know what I’m reading. You can find my profile clicking in the Goodreads symbol at the end of the post ✨

I already DNF one book this year. I’m really sad about it, because I hate DNFing, but I was hating the book. The book is Infinity Reaper by Adam Silvera. I loved Infinity Son, but I feel this second one is filled with little insignificant things that didn’t need to be in the book. Maybe I will finish it, in a long, distant future.

On a more private note, I broke up with my eight years old boyfriend. Yes, I’m fine and it was all very friendly. He took the TV (it was his, so it was fair) so that’s why I have been reading more. No TV means no series to catch up, and no movies to watch and so many books to read. But hey it has been fun discovering myself again and finding who I am when alone.

All of this happened in March but I was taking some time for me and figuring if I was really well. Life goes on and I’m learning that I am better alone. It costs a bit being alone 24/7 when I had someone living with me for the last years, but I’m doing okay and my beloved cats help distracting the fact that I still have no tv. Also, my pc died and I still didn’t figure how to fix that out.

The fact that my pc died explains my ausence here. I hate writing on my phone but I really miss posting what I think of the books I’m reading. So I’ll try to post more. Please forgive any word or something wrong. I always proofread, but I’m not perfect and sometimes I fail, and that’s alright.
