Hi there!
I’ve been buying books for months and I haven’t been talking about them here. So I thought it’s time for a book haul! A very late book haul…

The Maze Runner Books Series by James Dashner

I always loved the movies and I was really curious about the books. When I got back to Portugal, I found out about a great deal on the box set so I didn’t think twice. I got the box set and now they’re here, waiting for me to decide the right time to read them.
The tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris

So, I already read and reviewed it. So I don’t need to talk about it again, right? You can read my review here.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone by J.K. Rowling

Yes, this is another book that I already read and reviewed. You can read this one’s review here.
Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare

Guys, I was so excited to for this one! I love the Shadowhunters world for so many years and when I knew she was planning on another book… Guys, I just lost my mind.
Vicious by V.E. Schwab

I don’t know anything about this book. I just know everybody is talking about this author and saying how good it was, so I bought it. I’m like that, no self control.
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald

This classic happens in the twenties, right after the end of the First World War. It tells us the love story of Daisy and Gatsby. It’s a beautiful book and it was the book that made me one of my special friends I’ve ever made, so I wanted a copy of my own.
Give Me a Call by Sarah Mlynowski

I bought this book knowing nothing about him. I got it because a girl was selling it for only three euros (circa 3,40 USD). I read it and I loved it. It’s a chick-lit kind of book, so it’s really funny. It’s about a seventeen year old girl that wishes to be able to call to her thirteen year old version. It happens and she starts making plans to avoid her present’s problems disappear. You may read the review soon.
Memories of Anne Frank by Her Classmates by Theo Coster

This book was written by a classmate of Anne Frank. I won this book in a bookstagram giveaway. I was really glad because I like to read about the World War II. I read the Diary of Anne Frank when I was fourteen and I loved it. It was a very sad time of our history, but we need to learn with what happened in our past and I think that is reading that we learn.
I won a Portuguese book in a(nother) bookstagram giveaway. It’s called An Unforgetable Year and it is not exactly a book, but more four short stories written by four different authors. I loved the first three, but the last one I thought very childish.
And I think that’s all for today. Those are all the books I got since March. I’m trying to spend less money on books, because I have a lot to read at home and I want to read those first.
Have you read any of the books I talked above? Tell me about it in the comments section.
See you next time!
